Overview
This Privacy Policy applies to SiteLock Admin, a Windows application published by Georgijevic. SiteLock Admin helps an administrator manage website-blocking rules on a Windows device.
Information processed by the app
SiteLock Admin processes the following information locally on the device where it is installed:
- Website domains entered by the administrator as blocking rules;
- Rule status and changes made in the app;
- An activity log for actions such as adding, removing, enabling, disabling, or applying rules; and
- A cryptographic hash and salt for the administrator password. The password itself is not stored in readable form.
How information is used
This information is used only to provide the app’s website-blocking, password-protection, and activity-log features. Blocking rules are applied locally through Windows system settings when the administrator chooses to apply them.
Data storage and security
SiteLock Admin stores its policy and activity information in the current Windows user’s local application-data folder. The password is protected with a salted cryptographic hash. No method of protection can guarantee absolute security, so administrators should use a strong, unique password and protect access to their Windows account.
Data sharing, advertising, and analytics
SiteLock Admin does not include advertising, analytics, tracking, or telemetry. The app does not send the blocking rules, activity log, or administrator password information to Georgijevic or to third parties. Georgijevic does not sell this information.
Microsoft Store purchases
If you acquire SiteLock Admin through Microsoft Store, Microsoft processes the purchase and payment information under its own privacy policy. SiteLock Admin does not receive or store payment-card details.
Your choices
You can change or remove blocking rules in SiteLock Admin using the administrator password. Removing the app or its local data may remove locally stored app information, subject to Windows and Microsoft Store behavior.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when the app or its privacy practices change. The latest version will be posted at this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
